Community Care Worker Job Summary

Are you looking for a change of career?We provide quality care to our community, we specialise in supporting clients to remain living in their own homes by assisting them with their everyday needs. Assisting with personal care tasks (washing & dressing) Medication support (prompting, assisting and administering) Meal preparations, Domestic support (help to keep the clients living environment clean and tidy) Support calls (Assisting the client to do their shopping, taking them to appointment) Companionship calls (keeping the clients company for a few hours) Promoting their independence sleep in/waking night live in support

Self-motivated, Good organisational skills, Flexible approach
Excellent communication skills – verbal, written,Good reporting skills both verbal and written
Ability to work on own initiative and within a team
Willingness to undertake the companies policies and procedures
Ability to act quickly in an emergency.
Clear understanding of good quality.

Have a full driving licence and access to your own vehicle due to travelling/we welcome non-drivers as well.

We will need to carry out a full enhanced DBS (CRB) application (paid by applicant)

Have commitment to working alternate weekends.

Experience is not essential as full in house training is provided by a trained trainer (experience would be an advantage)
